 Dân câu xứ Úc

 

Một người Úc tới vùng hoang câu cá

Mới ngồi câu một lúc đã hết mồi 

Định xếp đồ nghề về phức cho rồi

Chợt thấy trên bờ một con cá sấu.

 

Miệng nó đang ngậm con ếch rướm máu

Từ đàng sau ông chụp nó thật mau

Rồi cạy miệng nó bằng một con dao

Cướp con ếch làm mồi câu không khó!

 

Với con sấu, ông rót rượu vô miệng nó

Không bao lâu thì nó đã sật sừ

Nó bò xuống nước một cách lừ đừ

Ông bợm nhà ta ngồi câu thoải mái.

 

Sau một lúc con sấu quay trở lại

Đụng chân ông giật mình nhảy tránh xa

Con sấu từ từ há miệng nhả ra

Đưa cho ông thêm hai con ếch nữa.

An Aussie went fishing in the outback. After a short while he ran out of bait. Then he saw a little crocodile with a frog in its mouth. Frogs are good bass bait.

Knowing the crocodile couldn't bite him with the frog in its mouth, the Aussie grabbed the croc right behind the head, pried open its mouth and took the frog. 

Now the dilemma was how to release the crocodile without getting bitten. So, he grabbed a bottle of Jack Daniels and poured a little whiskey in its mouth. The croc's eyes rolled back, it went limp. The guy released it into the lake without incident and carried on fishing using the frog. 

A little later, he felt a nudge on his foot. There was that same crocodile with two frogs in its mouth.
